Pricing is job specific and is based on window or glass panels. Auto tinting starts at $80, residential and commercial jobs are based on square footage. The best way to get a free estimate is to give us a call or send us an email with approximate window measurements or photos so we can assess cost. We also provide estimates on location or via email with photos.
Auto window tinting takes about an hour and a half, and customers wait in our comfortable waiting room with tv’s and free wifi. Residential and commercial jobs take anywhere from half a day up to a few days, depending on the size of the project. It takes a few days for the window tint to dry and adhere to your windows, whether auto or residential. We ask that windows aren’t touched or rolled down for 3 days after film has been installed.
The moisture we use for install can remain between the film and windows for up to 2 to 3 weeks, sometimes longer in colder climates. Moisture or condensation comes in the forms of haziness and water bubbles or pockets. Don’t panic- they will clear up! The moisture simply evaporates. Never try to push around any of these water pockets on your own- this can create air pockets which will not go away. After 4 weeks, if you are still seeing a problem, please call our office or send photos to southjerseywindowtinting@gmail.com for us to review.
All tint is installed on the inside of the windows.
Always wait about a week to clean any windows after film install. Moisture that gets to the outside edges of freshly installed film can get sucked under the film and create bubbles. For non-metallic window film, any cleaner without ammonia can be used. We recommend never using cleaning cloth or pad that is abrasive, as it can cause unwanted scratches.
No, not at all. We are familiar with this feature in most autos. We specialize in auto tint and your windows will be tinted in the full up position so that no gap will result when the doors are closed. Make sure you use an experienced auto tinter on your vehicle for precision tinting.
Dot-matrix is very common. It’s the small black dot pattern that lines the outside of most rear windshields, and sometimes others as well. The thinner, more common dot-matrix patterns will look uneven when film is first installed, but should even out to create a “framed” look when dry.
